CHALLENGE

When vets diagnose a cat with chronic kidney disease (CKD), they know and accept that the road ahead will be difficult. With a decreased appetite, cats face low nutrition and low body condition scores that spiral them further and further from a good quality of life. And as the cat continues to waste away, owners begin thinking about euthanasia.

INSIGHT

When managing cats with CKD, it’s really hard to watch them waste away as they lose weight.  As a veterinarian, I am committed to doing everything in my power to give the best care and I wish there was more I could do to help these cats.

 

IDEA

When a CKD cat has been given Elura their appetite is stimulated and they’re super hungry. We’ll show a cat interrupting their owner at all hours of the day. and RESTORE THEIR APPETITE FOR LIFE
