CHALLENGE
Create an e-commerce campaign for Christmas that emphasised the heritage of Coke over the festive period, tied in with the upcoming ATL campaign yet did not interfere with the online shopping of Ocado and Tesco customers.
INSIGHT
Christmas food shopping is as much a tradition as gifting presents but a lot of people see it as a chore. Any delay or diversion during the user experience could lose a customer. Could we turn this buying experience into a gift itself? Coke's 'The Holidays are Coming' truck is world famous, what if we could persuade customers to feel the same about their grocery delivery trucks this December?
IDEA
We developed a solution that slotted seamlessly into the purchasing journey with Ocado. No new windows pop up, no banners to take you away from the Ocado site. Quite simply if you have enough Coca-Cola in your basket, you qualify to win a visit from Santa carrying your shopping and gifts for all - direct to your doorstep. For added incentive we created an instant win 'pull a cracker' mechanic, where matching pairs add prizes to your shopping basket.
